CalWave is developing a durable new converter device to capture the power from ocean waves.

I filmed and photographed the launch and deployment of their first open ocean pilot, which they lowered into the water in Mission Bay and subsequently anchored offshore from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, in San Diego, CA.
