I’m a California native with a BA from Carleton College in Minnesota. I began my communications career at non-profit organizations and universities, and since 2008 I’ve been working as a writer, project manager, and multimedia generalist with research and development projects in the Bay Area.
I also freelance as a photographer, videographer, and FAA certified drone pilot.
I love to be part of a team of people working together to solve hard and interesting problems.
In support of flying wind turbines, kite- and battery-powered hydrofoils, wave power devices, and electric air taxis, I’ve photographed and filmed engineering tests in Hawaii, Norway, and throughout California.
I’ve also traveled throughout the western US, southern Europe, Patagonia, Canada, and Mexico to participate in and photograph climbing, skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and hang gliding.
